My study of Japanese art and aesthetics greatly influenced the setting and form of this garden sculpture, as well as the pruning of the juniper bush surrounding it. The photo is not enhanced although it appears to be. In the background, Virginia Creeper climbs the fence, its foliage scarlet with the breath of autumn. Time passes, sometimes like a dream.
