Patterns and Intricacies

Earth is complex and vast in its beauty. It should not be simply glanced at or brushed over with our eyes. To be fully present in this life, we must be here with awareness. Because Earth is our home, it is a place to study and intimately know. Nature, with its intricate web of life, provides us with the essentials for our physical survival while an abundance of natural beauty can nurture our spirit and uplift our soul. To consciously preserve life and life-giving conditions on our planet, I believe it is important to establish meaningful connections to life that surrounds us. A keen awareness of beauty in the natural world often fosters a desire to care for the Earth and an interest that leads to a greater understanding of it.
