The Sanctuary is an elaborate installation with numerous paths and stone stairways leading into the center. Stone paths also lead towards the river where two cast-aluminum and iron loveseats offer places for visitors to sit. Bathed by sounds of water, it is a peaceful place for contemplation and meditation. It echoes of prehistoric gathering places which were created as settings for tribal and communal ceremonies that honored nature and the land surrounding them.
