Garden Sculptures

I have created a significant number of garden sculptures that provide accents within the larger landscape sculpture. Many garden sculptures adorn the woodlands and lawns, each with its own character. The garden sculptures inspire visitors to pause and reflect. As they pause, their attention is drawn into the natural surroundings that encircle the sculptures. By being present through our senses, we can more easily embrace the moment. It was winter when Erilauro and I began creating the garden sculptures. Sturdy 3/4" salvaged, stainless steel rods connect the granite stones. They are not easy to work on and assemble because the granite is often very hard and the stones heavy. It takes two people. All are 3-4 ft. tall. Placed in woodlands and gardens, they each have their own individual character and presence. Many of the stones in the assemblages are engraved with linear designs.
