Trinity stands 9'6" tall. The standing stones in all the environmental landscape sculptures are set fairly deep into the earth, grounding and stabilizing them, some as much as three and a half feet. Trinity represents masculine and feminine forms watching over the place of our emergence or birth symbolized by a central stone that resembles a cradle, an urn, or the prow of a ship; a vessel to hold the human soul as it emerges and to carry it through life. The trinity is encircled by a perimeter of lichen covered stones representing cycles of time. Waterworn river stones lead into the center and symbolize life's ability to smooth out our rough edges so that we can harmonize with life. It is an optimistic vision of human existence and our relationship with nature and the Earth.
